Why "cour"?
A couris roughly a 3-month block of the anime broadcast calendar - Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. It's how the anime industry itself actually schedules and talks about new releases, and it's the organizing idea behind this whole site: instead of one global feed of every anime discussion ever, CourWatch is built around this cour- what's airing right now, episode by episode.
What you can do here
- Browse the current cour- every show airing this season, sorted however you like, with a live schedule of what's airing each day in your own timezone.
- Discuss episode by episode - every episode gets its own thread, so spoilers stay contained to the episode people are actually talking about.
- Track your own watching- a watchlist (planning, watching, completed, paused, dropped), plus per-episode progress tracking and a "continue watching" shortlist on the homepage.
- Vote at the end of the cour - once a season wraps, cast your pick for its best show on the Verdict page.
Where the data comes from
Show info, cover art, trailers, and streaming links all come from AniList's public API. CourWatch isn't affiliated with AniList - we just think their data is great and didn't want to make you re-enter it.
